Make material supply predictable — planning instead of firefighting

We don't implement software — we make your material management and logistics processes deliver results, as the bridge between business and IT.

Inside a modern automated production hall — a bright, clean manufacturing environment

Sound familiar?

If any of this sounds familiar, you are in the right place

Most of our engagements don't start with a system error — they start with a familiar symptom:

  • Production keeps stopping or rescheduling because a single component is missing — while overall inventory value stays high.
  • Planning lives in spreadsheets, and next week's supply depends on one indispensable key person.
  • The ERP is live, but the real processes run alongside it — and nobody fully trusts the data in the system.
  • A new product or site is launching, and no one owns the material-supply side of the introduction.
  • Development is progressing but stalls at intervals – the business side, the key user, and the developer do not share the same understanding of the task.

These are not IT defects — they are process problems, and they are solved sustainably on the process side. That is exactly where we work.

Who we help

What matters in your role

  • Managing director, owner — Hungarian SME (100–800 employees)

Growth is increasingly held back by operations: cash sits in inventory, delivery deadlines slip, and there is no internal capacity to fix it.

As external experts we bring order to your processes — without capital investment or reorganization, building on your own team.

  • Subsidiary leadership — multinational group

Group expectations and systems are a given, but local execution lacks a seasoned process expert who negotiates in both Hungarian and English.

We bridge group-level requirements and local reality — with report-ready, auditable results.

  • Production, logistics, or project manager

Daily firefighting leaves no time to rethink the processes, yet the same problems come back week after week.

We take the load off: structured assessment, a ready recommendation, and implementation support — sparing your internal resources.

Our services

We provide expert support in nine areas — what they share is that the process and the result are always at the center, never a piece of software. You decide how much involvement you need: a single audit, one project, or a long-term partnership.

Expert areas

Nine areas, one mindset

  • Material management consulting

Inventory, procurement planning, material supply: expert answers so resources are where production needs them.

  • Logistics consulting

Review and improvement of transport, warehousing, and internal material flow — lower costs, higher service levels.

  • Process optimization

Making current operations measurably more efficient: removing redundant steps, cutting lead times, clarifying ownership.

  • Digitalization

Reducing spreadsheet dependency: moving planning and execution into a digital, auditable flow — built on the systems you already own.

  • MRP/DRP processes

Retuning material-requirements and distribution planning so plans get more accurate and the system genuinely supports decisions.

  • New project introduction support

The supply side of a new product, line, or site: master data, planning parameters, supplier ramp-up — managed through to go-live.

  • Global project support

Multi-country programs with one consistent methodology and local presence — in Hungarian and English, aligned with group expectations.

  • Operational audits

An independent expert review: where the current operation loses money or time, and which improvements pay back most.

  • Mediation between business and IT

We translate business needs into IT language and back — so decisions are understood and executable on both sides.

What we deliberately do not do

We do not implement ERP systems and we do not develop software. That is not a limitation — it is a guarantee: we have no product to sell you, so our recommendations are shaped solely by the interest of your processes.

Ways of working

How you can involve us

Not every situation needs the same level of involvement. We typically work in three forms — and each can start with a single conversation.

ERP-agnostic expertise

Our methodology is not tied to one system — we have worked in these environments:

  • Microsoft
  • Oracle
  • SAP
  • Smaller and custom systems

The process

Four steps, four tangible deliverables

  1. Assessment

We map how things run today: processes, data, the teams involved, and how the systems are actually used. You provide access to the relevant data and colleagues — we carry the field work.

Deliverable: A jointly understood, fact-based picture of the starting situation.

  2. Analysis

We analyze the assessment data from both a business and an IT perspective. We uncover the causes behind the symptoms and quantify how much each problem actually costs.

Deliverable: Decision-ready material: causes, impacts, prioritized improvement directions.

  3. Recommendation

We put a concrete, actionable recommendation on the table, aligned with what your organization can realistically absorb. Not a theoretical study — an implementation order, owners, and expected impact.

Deliverable: A prioritized action plan — you decide what to implement, when, and at what pace.

  4. Implementation support

We accompany the rollout as an expert partner: your team executes the changes while we provide professional guidance, answer questions as they arise, and correct course when reality intervenes. The knowledge stays in your organization.

Deliverable: A working process, proven by measurements — owned by your team.

Experience

Twenty years deep in the processes

For more than twenty years we have worked as material management and logistics experts, always from the process and results side. Across eight industries — from light industry through pharmaceuticals to the food industry — we have seen from the inside how supply really works in practice: where planning slips, why people stop trusting the systems, and what makes a change stick. That hands-on experience is what we put at your service from day one of an engagement.

Viktor Varga

Lead Consultant · Head of Consulting

20+ years of material management and logistics expertise · 8 industries · working languages Hungarian and English

Every engagement is led personally by the lead consultant: he conducts the assessment, stands behind the analysis and the recommendation, and accompanies the implementation. His entire career has run along the border of business and IT — in the planning processes of manufacturing companies, in putting ERP environments right from the process side, and in international rollout projects. His conviction: lasting results come not from the system, but from a well-built process and the team behind it.

As a team — with your team

Across two decades of international and Hungarian projects we have worked alongside a great many consultants, planners, logisticians, and developers — and we draw specialist knowledge from that network whenever a task demands it. The backbone of every engagement, however, is always held by one hand: from start to finish you work with the same expert, who takes personal responsibility for the details. And the most important team we work with is yours — that is where the knowledge has to stay.

Results

Results — no names, full substance

  • Sheet metal processing

Situation: Detailed scheduling covered only part of the machining areas, and the daily sequence was decided from experience. Clashes between jobs requiring the same tooling typically surfaced at the start of the shift, and the changeovers they caused had been absorbed into the standard times.

Result: After detailed scheduling was extended to every area and shared tooling was managed centrally, downtime caused by tooling clashes fell from an average of 381 hours per week to 210, and on-time delivery rose to 92% — with an unchanged machine park.

  • Pharmaceuticals

Situation: Sites in four countries each planned by their own logic, and the group-level picture was assembled by merging figures manually: different parameters at every site, and numbers on the executive desk that could not be compared.

Result: After the DRP/MRP process was unified and a shared KPI set introduced, the monthly close delivered a decision-ready picture 12 days earlier, and the capacity of the four sites became comparable at board level for the first time.

  • Food industry

Situation: Production orders and customer orders were handled in several records that did not talk to each other, with data carried across by hand. Delivery promises were often made without verifiable capacity or material coverage behind them.

Result: After the MRP process was redesigned, order-confirmation lead time shortened by 60%, and confirmed dates rested on verified material and capacity coverage — on an auditable, documented master schedule.

  • Contract manufacturing

Situation: Production scheduling and general production planning operated as two separate organisations, with different data and different priorities. The plan underpinning the financial forecast and the quantity that could actually be produced diverged regularly, and customer escalations reached senior management.

Result: After the two functions were merged into one organisation, the deviation of the monthly volume forecast fell from 22% to 7%, and customer escalations reaching senior management from six a month to one — with the existing team of 11, and no external resources.

  • Assembly

Situation: Material supply relied on manual, spreadsheet-based planning: individual parts were regularly missing at the assembly lines, while total inventory value stayed high.

Result: The data-driven planning process brought weekly emergency purchases down from 14 to 3, raised schedule adherence to 90%, and reduced inventory value by 18% — without introducing new software.

  • Waste management

Situation: The digitalisation of household waste collection had to be prepared at regional and national level: providers operating in different ways, no common data model, and the intersecting interests of utilities and public authorities.

Result: The groundwork brought the processes of 67 providers into a single operating and data model, closed several dozen open professional questions in a decision-ready form, and handed over an approved implementation schedule, an impact assessment, and a requirement set for providers.

Frequently asked questions

Worth knowing before you decide

Does this require new software or a system change?

No. We build on your existing systems and data — in the vast majority of cases the result comes from fixing processes and system usage, not from new software.

How quickly are results visible?

A focused audit delivers a fact-based status picture within a few weeks. The pace of implementation is then a joint decision — the first quick wins typically appear early in the project.

How do you price?

Per project, with scope and fee fixed up front, or in a long-term framework. The first consultation is always free and without obligation.

What happens to our confidential data?

Every engagement is protected by a non-disclosure agreement. That is also why no client names appear among our references — the results stay verifiably concrete even without names.

Does this work with our ERP system?

Yes. We have worked in Microsoft, Oracle, and SAP environments as well as alongside smaller and custom systems — our methodology is system-agnostic.

Can our organization absorb this alongside daily work?

We work to relieve your team, not to burden it: we carry the assessment and the analysis, and ask your colleagues only for focused, pre-agreed contributions.

Let's talk about what is slowing your operation down

The first consultation is free of obligation: you describe where it hurts, and we tell you honestly whether we see a real opportunity for improvement.

The process

  1. Introductory consultation

30 minutes on current operational practices, including the definition of tasks. No preparation or data provision is required.

  2. Assessment

An assessment of whether we see a substantive opportunity for improvement, and of its approximate scale.

  3. Proposal

Where warranted, a written proposal for the next step, including terms of engagement.
